Currently pursuing the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, I am working toward transitioning into the field of cybersecurity. My education has equipped me with technical skills in network security, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessment. As I continue to learn more, I am increasingly more excited to apply my new and previous skills to protect people, organizations, and data against continuously evolving threats.My professional background spans safety management, logistics, and education, giving me foundational skills in risk management, problem solving, and effective communication. As a safety manager at a construction and trucking company, I conducted safety audits, developed a hazard awareness training program for all personnel, and authored the safety manual and site-specific safety plans. These skills directly translate to managing security risks, implementing preventative measures, and communicating with employees and stakeholders that may not have technical backgrounds.I am particularly driven by opportunities to grow and learn new concepts, as well as helping to protect others against threats. I value the experiences and skills of others and look forward to building a more purposeful career.
