Oversaw "We Are Chicago" endowment campaign, goal $1 billion which closed at $1.65 billion. This is the largest campaign ever undertaken by a community foundation. Oversaw donor services for donor advised funds, supporting organizations, geographic affiliates, and professional advisor programs. Increased giving from $80 million per year to over $300 million per year, an increase of 375% in 8 years. Oversaw a comprehensive research study conducted by Indiana University Lilly Family Center on Philanthropy to determine how much money is given and from what sources in the Chicago metropolitan area....much like the Giving USA study.
