I first fell in love with the supply chain and how it connects the rapidly globalizing world when I stood in line to get the iPhone 4 with my dad in 2010. It intrigued me to know that something that I would soon use every day had components from all over the world. So, I asked myself, “how do I become a part of that?” And that is when I found supply chain management and global business. As I progressed through school and got my first job, I realized just how much I enjoy being able to get things done and remain efficient. I strive to continue to push the boundaries of the world as a Solution Support Specialist at Pegasus Logistics Group. As a Solutions Support Specialist, I can understand what pain points clients have and how a supply chain can be tailored to fit their business. In supply chain, it is never one size fits all. Being the project manager for my company's sustainability initiative helps me combine my passion for preserving the environment with my desire to organize and push the boundaries of supply chain. I am curious, passionate, and ambitious to continue to step out of my comfort zone and see the world with a new perspective with every chance that I get. I am always ready for a challenge, and I see failure as an opportunity to grow. Without persistent trial and error, I would not be able to be as confident and experienced as I am. I like to repeat Wayne Gretsky’s ever so popular quote, “You miss 100% of the shots you do not take,” in everything that I do, and I find myself less afraid of failing because I know that I will come out stronger and more experienced in the end. With this quote in mind, I continue to strive for the future and my goals to become a successful businesswoman
