Since graduating with a B.A in Printmaking from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen in 2011, i began interning at Peacock Visual Arts almost immediately . Under the guidance and tutelage of 2 master printmakers i was able to further explore printmaking practices, aiding in the development my own skills and experience. Since 2013 i've been working as a Printmaking technician at Peacocks , beginning primarily in screen printing. After a work experience trip lasting a month at the Tamarind Institute of Fine Art Lithography i began back at Peacocks as the Screen Printing and Lithography technician . Working at Peacock Visual Arts in the printmaking department i've been able to work with a variety of different artists on a variety of different projects . With each collaboration i've been able to learn and grow through the process. I've had the chance to develop skills such as time management , ability to keep calm under pressure and improve my knowledge base which aids in the ability to trouble shoot problems quickly and confidently . Throughout my time at Peacocks i'm continually striving to learn and grow as a printmaker. Despite specialising in Screen printing and Lithography at Peacocks, my own personal practices have seen me grow more and more knowledgable in the various other printmaking methods and processes, such as wood and metal engraving, relief printing , mono printing, fabric printing and etching .
