Assistant Manager
CurrentSupporting the general manager in the effective running of the business. Accountable for the smooth running of shifts; and managing all aspects of the pub when the General Manager/Deputy GM are away. Leading shifts and motivating the team for each of these shifts. Responsible for guest feedback, and the staff incentive to drive guest reviews. Kitchen trained; demonstrating an ability to fit in when required and cook every item on menu. Checking-in, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and dealing effectively and efficiently with any hotel guest special requests. Working along the housekeeping team to clean rooms efficiently and to a high standard. Reconciling cash sales for banking. Taking and accepting deliveries; and logging on system. Carrying out weekly and monthly health and safety and fire safety checks.
