I am currently leading the Retail Intelligence team at Tridge (www.tridge.com), a Korean agri-tech start-up/unicorn specializing in global food sourcing and serving as a data hub.Before joining Tridge, I established the Seoul office of Euromonitor International in 2017, equipped with full research, sales, and consulting capabilities to support clients with insights and strategies. I held the responsibility of overseeing the overall management of the Seoul office, including sales, research, and consulting activities.During my tenure at Euromonitor International, I led the industry and country research teams specializing in Consumer Appliances. As the head of Euromonitor International’s industry experts focused on Consumer Appliances, I led the company’s global annual research initiatives across 46 countries. My role involved providing in-depth data and current analysis across 13 product categories, encompassing major and small appliances.Additionally, I actively contributed competitive analyses on trends and developments influencing appliance growth across various regional focuses, ranging from Asia Pacific to the Middle East and Africa. My work has been featured in respected publications such as Time Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Tokyo Keizai, Modern Metals, and NNA. I also engaged in discussions and shared industry overviews and trends with leading appliances players such as Haier, Samsung, Panasonic, and Philips. I was invited to speak at the IFA Summit 2014, where I presented on the topic of "Health Lifestyle in Consumer Appliances."Prior to my current role, I served as a Project Manager in the exhibition industry in South Korea and worked as a Product Marketing Manager with a leading consumer appliances manufacturer in Algeria. Leveraging my previous experiences, I played a pivotal role in Euromonitor International’s initiative to refresh category definitions and provided frequent opinions on global trends for the mentioned industries.
