I’m Jamie,I have been working In engineering for 6 years now and have been out of my time for two of them now. I have completed a Level 3 M.O.E.T Apprenticeship (Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician)I’ve worked in all areas of the tyre manufacturing industry and have good knowledge of many pneumatic systems used in the tyre industry, as well as high pressure hydraulic systems using steam , hot water and oil. I have some experience in electronics regarding sensors , solenoids and plc panels.Most of my experience comes from doing reactive work involving machine breakdowns doing fault diagnosis and correct rectification, planned maintenance and also preventative maintenance including T.P.M’s and lubrication.Due to site closure my employment is coming to an end in December 2023 so I am looking for a place to start working in January 2024 to proceed with my career and enhance my engineering skills and knowledge.I have genuine love for my trade and am looking forward to starting somewhere new in a different industry to learn more things about the engineering trade and carry on with my career.
