Oversee and strategically lead the Economy Focus Area as a member of the City's Executive Team. Provide assistance to the City Administrator in overseeing day-to-day operations of the City and interactions with the 13 members of the governing body. The main areas of oversight include community development, human resources, pension administration, legislative affairs, and solid waste. This position serves as the main point of contact on all major development projects, including management and oversight of the City's community improvement districts.

Assisted the City Manager with day-to-day oversight of all city operations. This position was responsible for all aspects of budget and finance for the City, including revenue and expenditure forecasts, budget development, investments, procurement, debt management, bank reconciliations, and payroll. I also managed all aspects of human resources and risk management, as well as provided guidance for planning and development within the city and oversight of municipal court and utility billing.

Served as the public information officer for the public works department, assisting with department communications, education, and outreach.

Worked as a fellow for the City Manager's Office where I assisted with the preparation and analysis of the budget and CIP through a rotation in the budget office, provided administrative support to the HR division through a departmental rotation, advised the Olathe Teen Council, and managed the "Learning About Olathe" third grade program.
