Stakeholders include Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Bank of Canada, and the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI). • Using Python and Big Data to produce intelligence on generalized exposure, social vulnerability, and climate-related risks in Canada.- Project Advisor: • Lead advisory role focusing on project design, implementation, and leveraging expertise in risk communication for the Canadian Flood Risk Portal, a federal commitment for open and accurate information on flood risk to enhance perceptions and foster protective action by Canadians. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in front-end and back-end technologies to ensure effective performance, user experience, and project success.

Agroclimate, Geomatics and Earth Observation (ACGEO) | Science and Technology BranchCreated agri-environmental indicator web applications focused on sustainability model outputs for carbon, organic matter in soil, etc. to support accountability for Canada’s climate commitment to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.ACGEO is responsible for the operationalization of Agriculture Canada’s geospatial data products on land use, crop inventory, and long-term agriculture sustainability on a national scale. I led the development of data products using ESRI GIS Software Suite, Google Earth Engine, and R.

Research Fellow | Consultant• Consultation work in the Canadian insurance sector focused on business intelligence, climate impacts, and enhancing client risk perceptions through online communication. I produced the Innovation on Climate-related Risk Communication in Canada project, a study that produced best practices for climate-related web tool development (www.climaterisktools.ca). Clients include Co-Operators Insurance LTD and Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).• Research projects covered web communication, framing of climate change, insurance risk, carbon markets, and cutting-edge remote sensing analysis to support green growth and risk reduction initiatives in Canada - specifically benchmarking existing solutions and developing data-driven recommendations for the finance and insurance industry.

Led prairie-focused climate research initiatives for natural disasters, impacts to structures and health, and data communication.The Prairie Climate Centre is a transdisciplinary group of climate scientists, social science researchers, filmmakers, and communication specialists. I contributed to the Climate Atlas of Canada (www.climateatlas.ca), a flagship application that combines climate, cinema, and cartography to bring the global issue of climate change closer to the Prairies, and is designed to inspire local, regional, and national action and solutions.
