It Support Engineer
Current• Providing high quality IT support through the Service desk facility to give users 1st and 2nd level fault diagnosis and repair (by telephone and in person) and when required, supervise external suppliers who are contracted to supply support to ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs• Managing active Directory in Windows 2008 server• Providing support to users in Microsoft SharePoint 2007• Installing and configuring various software using SSCM• Configuring and providing support for various Smartphone ,Cisco IP phone ,Tablets• Carrying out project based work under the guidance of the IT service delivery manager to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the VisitScotland IT network• Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation of systems including hardware and software inventories to ensure that all VisitScotland systems can be accounted for and that all software is used legally• Responsible for setting up systems and PCs, setting up presentations, installation of systems and dealing with ad hoc user requests as required in line with existing standards and procedures
