As part of a team specialized on industrial EPC projects, Responsible for execution, subcontractors control, quality, cost and schedule during the execution of several industrial projects. Design, negotiation with other stakeholders and development of technical solutions, among other tasks.

PROJECT:Design and construction of the Expansion of the First Tramway Line in Constantine (Algeria):With a budget larger than 250 million EUR, this project (assigned to the group formed by Corsán-Corviam, Almstom & Cosider) includes about 11 km of tramway line completely integrated in urban area, as well as several structures (3 viaducts from different typologies and 3 underpasses based with different construction methods) • QA/QC department manager. Management of the department and stablishing of methods of work.• Subcontractor management and laboratory follow up.• Redaction of contracts, cost control and economic management. • Supporting of claims against others stakeholders.• Responsible for Geotechnical campaign and pre-operational repports follow-up.• Permanent structures quality assurance and Non-Conformances follow-up.• Coordination of work team formed by several local engineers and administrative staff, in a multicultural professional environment (EN-FR-ES).• Redaction of procedures and ITPs, working side by side with the client and its technical assistance, to guarantee full compliance with the contract requirements. Implementation and approval of work procedures, materials, etc.• UOMs: Reinforced concrete, welded and bolted metallic structures, earthworks and roadworks, urban affected connections.

PROJECT:Design and construction of the First Tramway Line in Mostagenem (Algeria):With a budget larger than 250 million EUR, this project (assigned to the “Groupement CAI” formed by Corsán-Corviam, Almstom & Isolux Ingeniería) includes about 14 km of tramway line completely integrated in urban area, as well as four main structures (a 150 m length viaduct and three underpasses based on pile walls) • QA/QC departement responsible. Coordination and management of work team formed by several local engineers and administrative staff, in a multicultural professional environment (EN-FR-ES).• Permanent structures quality assurance and Non-Conformances follow-up,• Redaction of procedures and ITPs, working side by side with the client and its technical assistance, to guarantee full compliance with the contract requirements. Implementation and approval of work procedures, materials, etc.• UOMs: Reinforced concrete, welded and bolted metallic structures, earthworks and roadworks, urban affected connections.

PROJECT: "Third Bridge over the Panama Canal at the Atlantic Side"Quality Control Engineer (QC Department), integrated with Production and Safety Departments. • Redaction of documentation and ITPs, to guarantee full compliance with contract requirements.• Permanent structures quality assurance follow-up, including on-site inspections with the client (ACP) for UoM approval, thoughout the diferent construction phases (prefabrication of reinforcement cages, steel on-site installation, formwork placing, pouring, etc.)• Non conformances follow-up, reparations and final approval.• Quality Control of temporary installations construction (crane foundations, industrial buildings, offices, etc.)•Production Daily Report update and subcontractors surveillance.• UOMs: Piles, concrete superstructure, welded and bolted metallic structures, earthworks.With a budget superior to 365 millions USD, this bridge has a total length superior to 3 km and with a constructive method composed by two launched bridges, three cantilever decks and one cable stay bridge section with a length of 1050m (main bridge). The piers rise up to 60 m and the main pylons up to 200 m.

PROJECT: "Design and construction of the Third Set of Locks", main project of the Panama Canal Expansion Program.Project Engineer within Civil Works Production Department asigned to the Lock Head 3 & adjacent monoliths at the Pacific Site, with the following undertaken responsabilities: • Production activities management oriented to achieve the schedule and cost objetives.• Surveyance and control of subcontractors (Tecozam & Armatek) to ensure that the works are carried out according to the technical specifications without wasting of materials, means and equipment.• Responsible for quality pre-control during the pre-pour, pouring and curing stages. Execution control of repair procedures.• Direct link with the Quality Assurance Department. Proposal and development of technical solutions for specific problems during the works execution.• Redaction and management of the necesary documentation to guarantee that correct procedures and materials are used.Within the construction of the Third Set of Locks, Lock Head 3 (PAC site) is the structure that will host the locks #5 and #6, isolating Middle and Lower Chambers. Lock Head 3 (PAC site) is composed by 163.000 m3 of structural concrete and is divided into 19 independent monolith subdivided in 355 lifts aproximately.

Redaction of construction projects and technical reports related to civil and environmental engineering, creation of cartography, measuring and budget estimations, proceedings for public administration authorizations, technical consultancy to several private clients.

Civil engineer assigned to the Technical Assistance (quality control and works survey) during the construction works of three groups of wastewater treatment plants, promoted by the public utility company “Infraestructuras del Agua de Castilla-La Mancha” in the province of Cuenca (Spain), as subcontractor of Tecnoma (TYPSA Group), the main contract awardee, with the following undertaken responsabilities:• Health and Safety coordinator.• Equipment and civil works quality control technicianProjects technician: redaction and supervision of construction projects related to wastewater treatment and general civil works.

Civil engineer assigned to the Technical Assistance to public administration: Technical reports writing, construction projects survey and other similar tasks, rending service to the “Servicio Regional de Infraestructura Hidráulica de la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha” (Regional Water Agency).
