Patent Researcher
Current• Effectively manage multiple, diverse research projects both individually and as part of a team to create accurate, detailed, high-quality reports using LibreOffice/Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Review scientific and technical medical device and electronic medical equipment disclosures from clients to learn new concepts; analyze the disclosure for novelty and develop an efficient search strategy to meet deadlines.• Independently research concepts using appropriate databases within the specified time frame.• Meticulously document search strategy, execution of strategy, adjustments to strategy and results of research.• Provide consistent and clear communication to teammates and supervisors regarding progress and completion of cases while adjusting to shifting demands.• Utilize multiple databases including the United States Patents, PatBase, DialogPro, Google Patents and Google Scholar to collect, analyze and present data for each project.• Continually look for opportunities to improve processes including feedback for macros to automate formatting, and templates to streamline the documentation for researching and reporting data.
