About Jan Brown

With a lifetime of experience in Early Childhood Education, including teacher education and children's enrichment, I am bringing my expertise to Rwanda. TEACH Rwanda’s mission is to transform early childhood teacher education in Rwanda in ways that blend modern teaching practices within the context of Rwandan culture. Our goal is to develop Rwandan capacity to carry TR into the future as a self-sustaining beacon of success for all of Rwanda and eventually Africa.We are now ready to build a permanent professional development home for Bright School in Muhanga. In partnership with the Gitarama Presbytery, we plan to construct a professional development campus in Muhanga for Rwandan children and teachers.
