I'm a current MA student of Jewish Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Special interests of mine are: Amsterdam, European and New York Jewish culture and history, Yiddish and Hebrew language, heritage and more. I currently work as a writer and editor for Dutch Jewish geneaology magazine Misjpoge. Previously I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Middle-Eastern Studies at the University of Leiden, with the Israëlstudies specialization (currently called Hebrew language and culture). There I took a special interest in historical narratives, social issues in Israël and Palestine, languages and history. During my Leiden stint I also headed the lectures board at the study Association of Sheherazade and organized many lectures.
