2010 – DeltaV Systems Engineer on the Emerson Process Management DeltaV DCS system for the SASOL Temane Pande development project. I was responsible to configure DeltaV software for two new turbine compressors. The system consists of a DeltaV, M-Series, control system (400 I/O). 2010-2013 - Lead DeltaV Systems Engineer and software configurator for SASOL Wax Fisher Tropsch Wax Expansion project (FTWEP). I am the Lead DeltaV systems engineer for hardware and software and I am responsible for the configuration of all non SIS software. The project is for Sasol FTWEP, on the new Wax Workup Plant. The project is in the region of 700 I/O and consists of a DeltaV, S-Series, control system and a DeltaV Safety Instrumented System (SIS). 2011-2013 - Lead DeltaV Systems Engineer for SASOL Wax plant migration project. I am the Lead DeltaV systems engineer for hardware and software for Sasol Wax Migration project, on the old/current Wax Workup Plant. The project is in the region of 1500 I/O and consists of a DeltaV, S-Series, control system and a DeltaV Safety Instrumented System (SIS).2011-2012- Lead DeltaV Systems Engineer for SASOL Hydrogen Compressor project. I am the Lead DeltaV systems engineer for hardware design. The project is in the region of 200 I/O and consists of a DeltaV, S-Series, control system and a DeltaV Safety Instrumented System (SIS).2012-2015 - Lead DeltaV Systems Engineer for SASOL Wax plant migration project. I am the Lead engineer for hardware and software and is involved in the configuration of the software. The project is for Sasol Wax Migration, on the old/current Wax Solidification plant. The project is in the region of 800 I/O and consists of a DeltaV, S-Series, control system and a DeltaV Safety Instrumented System (SIS).2014-2015- Lead DeltaV Systems Engineer for SASOL Wax Solidification plant Phase two (500 I/O). I am the Lead engineer for hardware and software. DeltaV and DeltaV SIS, S-Series.

Control Engineering Consultant on the basic and detail design phase of the Renewable Energy Hydrogen System (REHS) for the North-West University, HySA Infrastructure- Hydrogen South Africa. I am responsible to develop the Control system’s Software and Hardware Specification documentation and to review the Control system design.

2009 - C&I Engineer for the control design and configuration of a diesel fuel dosing system including all regulatory requirements such as SANS10131, IPP protection classes, IPX Explosion classes etc.

2004 – C&I Engineer for the PBMR Micro Model test facility. I was responsible for the upgrading of the PBMM (Pebble Bed Micro Model) control and SCADA system and maintenance of the plant’s Instrumentation.2005 – Lead C&I Engineer for the PBMR High Pressure Test Unit (HPTU), 5.5 MPa Nitrogen test facility. I was responsible for the control and instrumentation design, the configuration of the software and commissioning of the facility.2006-2007 - Lead C&I Engineer for the PBMR High Temperature Test Unit (HTTU), 1600°C Nitrogen and Helium test facility.I was the lead engineer for the control system and instrumentation. My responsibilities included the control and instrumentation design, the configuration of the software and commissioning of the facility.2007-2010 - Lead Control Engineer for the PBMR Nuclear Fuel Coated Particle Facility (CPF).2008 - C&I Engineer on the pre-concept design phase of the CTF (Component Test Facility) for the NGNP (Next Generation Nuclear Plant) for the DOE (Department of Energy) USA.2009 - C&I Engineer during the designing process of a Small Scale Pebble Bed Test Facility (NWETCTF) for the North-West University Potchefstroom.2009 - C&I Engineer of the concept, basic and detail design on the Anglo Gold Ashanti Tautona mine water turbine project which consists of two 2 MW power generating units.
