Director, Jan Wright, has studied the region's early history for over 20 years, developing a deep knowledge of its unique story and people. In addition, Wright Research & Archives has developed the most comprehensive and up-to-date surname database in southern Oregon, the Jackson County Database. Wright Research & Archives provides a variety of archival, research and transcription services for local southern Oregon businesses, individuals, and organizations. Services include: - Organizing and properly preserving historical documents. - Creating archival space for storing records. - Developing searchable databases and catalogs. - Writing articles for newsletters and local press. - Researching hard-to-find information about a specific person in a specific record. - Transcribing historical documents including letters and diaries.
