Press Here helps scientists communicate with non-scientists by offering training in science communication, plain language, and working with the media..Since 2013, Press Here has given presentations at federal science agencies, international science organizations, and an anthropology association.Press Here was created by Jana Goldman to fill a niche for science organizations that need professional press room creation and management for large meetings, as well as offer plain language and media training.Jana is a former federal government plain language trainer. During her career she has also been a public affairs officer for a federal science agency, deputy press secretary for a U.S. Senator, and a daily newspaper reporter and editor.In September 2015, she became a board member of Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) and served as its vice-president from 2017-2019.
