As a Project Engineer-Civil at the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, I oversee the construction of water retaining structures such as reservoirs, tanks, and dams, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. I have more than 13 years of experience in the construction industry, ranging from building construction to water supply and drainage projects, as a site engineer, structural design engineer, and project manager.I hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Peradeniya, a Master's degree in construction project management from the University of Moratuwa, and several professional certifications, including PMP, CEng, and IntPE. I have a passion for structural design and project management, and I enjoy solving complex engineering problems and delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions. I have been recognized for my outstanding performance and contribution to several successful projects, such as the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium Colombo. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders in the field.
