I fulfil the role of a data scientist and an AI engineer in my current job, where we provide AI-based solutions to clients. This improves the productivity and accuracy of their facilities, and reduces wastage of time and resources due to a faulty operation. My core responsibilities include data exploration, choosing and building the most suitable AI model, writing and maintaining the code, system integration, and writing reports and documentation.

I have been trained in the field of solar astrophysics, having obtained my Ph.D. degree in 2012. Later, I worked at institutes of international repute in South Korea and Japan. These years have instilled in me scientific rigour and scientific mindset, which is beneficial in my professional as well as personal life. Apart from the transferable hard skills, like mathematics, programming and computer vision, among others, that I learnt as an astrophysicist, I bring to the table the ability to find the optimal path with an objective focus on the goal of the project at hand.

I am excellent at communication in both written and spoken English. Having worked in environments with people from diverse backgrounds, I am adaptable to work in a new setting. I also possess conversational skill in Japanese language. Personally, I firmly believe in transparency and reason. Once a goal is set, achieving it is a common dedicated effort on the part of all the team members, howsoever big or small they may be.
