Leading a cross-national team of 23 people in Denmark and Ukraine. Together we develop CIS (Clinical Information System) to support Intensive Care, Neonatal ICU, Anesthesiology and Recovery in hospitals in Denmark , Iceland and Sweden. CIS is an intelligent patient management solution. It provides real-time, intelligent and contextual information on a patient’s condition that can facilitate early intervention, improve patient safety and enable better clinical outcomes.

My primary focus was to lead an upgrade of COSMIC for Greenland.

While working for Krifa I played two roles for several years: project manager and release manager. However, the final years were mostly devoted to PM responsibilities. As a release manager, I was responsible for planning and coordinating upgrades of internal products, testing and release of those as well as test and release of external products. As a PM, I have run projects within application and web development, operational optimization, integrations with external solutions, software implementation etc.My final contribution to Krifa was being responsible for establishment of a hybrid test and production environment in connection with our first steps towards cloud-based solutions and to lead the actual implementation of it. My primary responsibilities are to manage implementation projects with the company’s major customers, such as Danish counties (“regioner”) and municipalities.We are currently subjected to a major reconstruction and expansion, which means new ways of thinking and structuring are necessary. Internal as well as customer-related workflow and procedures have to be re-organized and optimized. Along with these changes and challenges, a project manager’s responsibility has increased. My first and very important project was to lead the very first implementation of the company's product in a foreign market (pilot project) - in Malta. The success of this project was followed by the international market being placed at the top of the company's agenda. USA being the second target, I conducted implementation projects in different states in the US. As a consultant, I was a “link” between the company/product and the customers.My task was to identify customers’ needs and to cover these applying IT solutions. Thus, I helped to optimize workflows and procedures at service providers (leverandør af sociale ydelser). I’ve been engaged in research within e-learning, competencies, learning resources and IT in teaching/training.I especially worked on a project aiming to measure the actual amount of competencies Danish people possessed – competencies that are not obtained at educational institutions. This was a project ordered from the Ministry of Education in relations to the governement’s vision of making the Danish citizens. competencies visible and thus to recognize them. Knowledge Lab was developing a IT-system to measure and to document these competencies. As an interpreter, I've met people of different social background from Sri Lanka - they didn't only need help to understand Danish.
