With a background in engineering and early childhood education, I have worked for over 10 years in creating an emergent, inclusive STEM curriculum for children with/without special needs. During these years, I also got the opportunity to attend the Incredible Years Program – an evidence based program for parents, children and teachers that focuses on addressing and treating young children’s behavior problems and promoting their social, emotional and academic competence. In my current role as a mental health coach with Lyra Health, I help professionals address their mental and emotional needs using evidence based mental health care treatments. As an ICF credentialed coach, I come from a place of trust, curiosity and commitment to helping clients live their best lives. Raising and nurturing children in today’s world can be stressful and mentally draining. As an emotional wellness coach, I help parents and educators in keeping their emotional and mental health in check so they can connect with children, make decisions and set healthy discipline strategies with curiosity and purpose, and create a well-rounded healthy lifestyle for themselves and their family.
