I work on the Data Courier and EMFI application team within Epic as a software tester. Data Courier and EMFI are used to sync data across different installs of Epic software and affects nearly every other Epic application, resulting in a large volume of cross-application testing.As part of my daily responsibilities, write and run test plans for new functionality and update or create regression scripts for others to run. I have written and run over 150 test plans and caught over 100 bugs prior to product release for my team as well as other teams.I coordinated an update to the development and testing cycles within my team to front-load testing and communication between developers and testers so that bugs can be caught and fixed sooner in the development process. In addition, I am leading a project to improve internal documentation used by my team to support other teams. This involves updating the current documentation as well as creating a process for future documentation.

I aided in planning how to promote recycling during Princeton Reunions with the University Facilities department and coordinated a team to monitor recycling stations at various sites during the event.

I conducted a study on determining whether domesticated dogs had empathetic reactions to human emotion by measuring physiological responses to emotional stimuli and coding behavior from recordings post-experiment. I worked within the Hasegawa-Saito lab in Tokyo University and recruited participants in Tokyo. In addition, I was a blind coder for previously done experiments and provided aid when necessary for other experiments that were being conducted in the lab.
