Ibm Sales Enablement And Skills Professional, EmeaIbm Jan 2021 - PresentEmeaMy primary priority is to coordinate Sales Enablement programs for Technical pre and post sales roles (Technical/Pre Sales, Client Engineering, Customer Success Managers, Expert Labs, etc.) in the EMEA market by tailoring them to the EMEA market conditions and ensuring their relevance for the EMEA seller community. Working together with WW enablement teams, Offering Management and the field – sellers, technical sellers and leadership teams – across the world and EMEA. Liaise, prioritise, organise, improve, augment, relevance.Secondary priority are in-person enablement events where my main focus is the organization, prioritization as well as to create innovative way to scale the enablement beyond the in-person audience to maximize efficiency, yield and output. This was primarily achieved through Hybrid events - both in-person and broadcast around the world and the accurate selection of attendees to effectively leverage our Teach-The-Teacher model. My Third priority is the support and creation of longer term enablement programs like badging and certification of the communities I'm working with as well as the creation of shorter term enablement programs. An example of the latter would be the EMEA DORA-readiness and badging program. -

Cloud Services Enablement Leader, EuropeIbm Jan 2016 - Dec 2018European Sales Enablement Leader for the Cloud Services BU in IBM Cloud. My primary priority was the coordination and development of internal public Cloud certification programs for IBM Cloud world-wide and delivering these locally all across Europe. The main focus of these certification programs was to enable technical sellers to become deep technical in the public cloud area (architecture) and to enable sellers to become more technical. My second priority was to coordinate Sales Enablement programs for the European market by tailoring them to the European market conditions and ensuring their relevance for the European seller community. -
Ibm Softlayer Gtm & Enablement Lead, EmeaIbm Jan 2014 - Dec 2015After the acquisition of SoftLayer by IBM (June 2013), the European SoftLayer Acquisition Integration team was formed. I was recruited into this team as the GTM and Enablement leader for EMEA.My main focus was make sure the newly formed Sales teams across Europe were enabled to sell the new products and just acquired portfolio. Marketing materials had to be created, internal education developed and awareness and knowledge proliferated. The entry into the consumer market with public cloud services was new to IBM at the time and needed a shift in the way sellers viewed Cloud, it's usage, it's business model and their opportunities. In effect, it needed a transformation in standardised sales methodologies, habits and customs. The translation to Enterprise level services of consumer oriented Cloud offerings and services, was a tricky one and a challenge I specifically enjoyed a lot. -
Cto At Optimizer+Maxgrip Nov 2011 - Nov 2013Utrecht Area, NetherlandsBeing on an external assignment and seconded from IBM to MaxGrip.Working at Optimizer+, a daugther company of MaxGrip B.V.Within Optimizer+ I was the CTO hired to modernise their Risk Based Maintenance software suite and integrate it with Enterprise Asset Management systems like IBM Maximo, SAP and Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) suite.I've set up, hired and headed the newly created development team and its projects, while working with MaxGrip's stockholders and launching customers to ensure continued business support and success.By enabling the MaxGrip sales community and actively integrating them in the agile development processes I made sure that the product development closely followed what MaxGrip's consultants saw as needed by the market and for field sellers.I actively worked at establishing successful partnerships for MaxGrip with IBM, Infor, LLoyd's Register and other business partners.
