During my employ at William Simpson Nissan, I had a number of different roles within the company and received a number of promotions. In 2010, I started as a F&I / Business Manager, shortly after my appointment I realised the need for a Fleet Sales Department for the branch, as the unit targets from the OEM were escalating. I then started the Fleet Sales Department, successfully running and currently producing 25-30 Fleet Sales per month. In 2017, I was promoted to the New Vehicle Sales Manager. Then the New Vehicle Sales Department had an average target of 65 units per month, with a 1st Gross APU of R21k and 2nd Gross APU of R9k . Furthermore, I also managed my own stock holding of 110 units, ordered from the Nissan SA, I also managed the Floorplan credit facility of R60million. I was also responsible for liaising with our marketing agency on behalf of the dealership, social media advertising, keeping our website up-to-date, monthly newsletters. I also took control of all the Sales Lead distribution amongst the Sales Team.In June 2022, following the acquisition of William Simpson Nissan by CFAO Motor Group, I was promoted to Dealer Principal. In my role, I managed a staff of 52 members across various departments, including the workshop, parts, and both new and used vehicle sales. My leadership ensured the smooth operation and profitability of the business, showcasing my ability to drive success and maintain high standards in a dynamic industry.
