To be a successful consultant, excellent client service is a must. After graduating from Indiana University in three years with a degree in criminal justice and a minor in psychology while working throughout, I thought I'd work in the social service industry. That path changed over time. I've since sold food services and telephone systems, sold and produced video communications, and served as senior account executive for a full-service advertising agency. This led to a love of branding, marketing and public relations. Though not blessed to be an artist, I love mentoring and art in all forms so I've worked to develop many platforms for creative people to share their work. For 10 years I served the Fort Wayne Advertising Federation which highlights the advertising arts. I was ultimately voted to represent Illinois, Indiana and Michigan at the national organization and was the youngest person ever to do so at the time. This experience provided the confidence to create unique community events that are regional in scope. As producer of these events, my company is responsible for every aspect from budget, to marketing, to participant experience.I later volunteered for the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. While there I led the young member outreach arm of the organization and founded a successful monthly social event to engage members. I was later hired to create the Chalk Walk, one of the largest events of its kind in the nation.I also helped to co-found a not-for-profit organization with a mission to provide the community access to tools, materials and mentors. A facility has been secured, labs are fully-equipped, and memberships are now being sold. With that, I've now moved to the Kentuckiana area and returning my focus to securing full-time employment or working with new clients in the private or public sector. The bottom line is to produce positive results and increase revenue through excellent service, be it social or otherwise.
