Use independent judgment and problem solving in course and program design. Prepare routine written communications regarding system changes and updates. Manage online education environments (including system security). Schedule education and optimization sessions, including securing facilities and equipment for presentation. Conduct classroom or individualized education and optimization sessions. Audience for education, optimization and support includes advanced practice providers and revenue cycle staff and leaders.•Lead and coordinate education projects directly related to applications or other large projects as designated by department management. Serve as liaison between stakeholders and vendor representatives during application research and design process. In addition, coordinate implementation of applications between user groups. Serve as a resource to other organizations installing similar systems. Assist with the analysis of information systems options and functionality to meet research and educational need
Supervisor Ambulatory Pharmacy Services
• Under the management of the Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services, supervise and facilitate the development of nearly 200 pharmacy staff in a variety of clinic settings. Serve as a member of the Ambulatory Leadership team to develop and streamline improvement initiatives. • Coordinate department-wide planning efforts involving the implementation of systems and services to support future programs and clinical growth. Work with other members of leadership and department providers to address and resolve broad issues such as cost monitoring and control, patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, public relations and the overall timeliness and quality of services provided to patients in community pharmacy settings. • In partnership with Ambulatory Leadership, create, manage, and review clinical and administrative policies for all pharmacy staff that align with UW Health policies and meet clinic operational needs. • Provide immediate supervision and performance management to a team of 25 direct reports and efficiently fill any vacant FTE. Manage scheduling and assign work to staff members. Evaluate performance of direct reports annually and at completion of probationary period. Ensure ongoing competency with appropriate training.• Recruit, interview, and hire all new technical employees. • Create business justifications for all new and replacement FTE for Senior Leadership to review. Manage FTE allocation and budgeting. • Coordinate the initial onboarding and training of pharmacy staff in both classroom and experiential environments. • Responsible for managing operations and personnel at a remote pharmacy call center. • Serve as chair of the Training and Development Committee.• Provide relevant performance improvement training to staff based on current trends in pharmacy. Design computer based training. Prepare and implement training and assignments for both new and established staff.
