With over 25 years of experience in business and economic development, I am passionate about empowering businesses to grow, innovate, and embrace Te Ao Māori. My core competencies include collaboration, governance, leadership, business/industry development that supports and uplifts individuals, whanau and communities. I have experience leading small and large teams to deliver successful outcomes for businesses and stakeholders, such as the $60M Activate Tāmaki Makaurau Project, which provided vital support to Auckland businesses impacted by Covid19 Delta lockdown of 2021. I also have a strong background in marketing, strategy, Pakihi Māori and innovation, as well as a life-long passion for farming, science and the environment. I am always keen to explore new ideas, connect with people, and learn from different perspectives. My mission is to help communities achieve their potential and contribute to the economic and social well-being of Aotearoa New Zealand, whilst nurturing Papatūānuku.
