Over the past few years through diligent study, work experience, and mentorship, I have honed my communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as my knowledge of the legislative process and the media landscape. In my previous role, I managed the schedule and travel arrangements for a Congressman, as well as coordinated with staff, media, and constituents. In my role prior to this, I researched, wrote, and presented local news and weather on-air for a large audience of daily listeners, as well as provided support and commentary for a conservative news talk show. I also assisted the company with digital marketing and interviewed potential interns. I have also gained valuable insights into the ethical and legal issues of the media industry through my internship at the Becket Fund, a non-profit law firm that defends religious freedom, and my work as a teaching assistant and tutor at BYU-Idaho. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to a challenging and rewarding career in the media, at a non-profit, or government sector, where I can contribute to the public interest and the advancement of society. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
