Having been a Partner in a City of London firm for many years heading up clinical negligence departments with large multi–practice law firms, I am a consultant offering strategic planning and management. I am accredited with the Law Society Clinical Negligence panel. I am a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and an expert on the projects board of the Royal College of Physicians. I am the Director of Health & Professional Training Agency providing legal training to non lawyers in the Health, Education and the Commercial sectors. I offer a consultancy service advising the health sector, professional bodies, schools and the commercial sector on a variety of issues including the investigation of serious untoward incidents or complaints. I am the author of award winning books - medico-legal essentials series published by Radcliffes Oxford. My book 'Health Records in Court' won an award at the BMA book awards 2010. I have many articles to my credit written for legal, pharmaceutical, health and other journals.I deliver training and speak at major conferences in the UK and worldwide.
