I wrote and implemented the annual strategy, working with key internal and external stakeholders. • I carried out insight project work with businesses to create effective promotional materials, developed and managed a website for the business audience www.rspcagoodbusinessawards.com, produced the guidelines and entry forms and managed the entry process from creative launch PR and communications through to post awards publicity. This included Facebook and Twitter activity.• I developed consumer campaigns using a mix of traditional and digital communications with a call to action to raise awareness of animal welfare issues. I secured an in-kind partnership for three years with the Independent to support the People’s Choice Supermarket Award increasing voters year on year to 14,000.• I created a consumer brochure, Good Things, to highlight the achievements of the winning businesses which was distributed through the Guardian. I then developed this into an online lifestyle website www.goodthings.org.uk and produced consumer digital campaigns to drive traffic to this on conjunction with Facebook activity.Project Management• As manager I was responsible for the planning and delivery of the whole programme. This involved communications with the project team, liaising with all departments internally for briefings, resource requirements, reviews and to set deadlines to ensure each element was delivered to time and within budget. • I coordinated and evaluated all elements of the strategy and was successful in increasing the numbers of entries whilst achieving a 60% reduction in spend over five years. -
