I am a passionate, strategic and commercially astute leader, with over fifteen years of experience operating at a leadership level.My career has spanned both the retail and corporate arms of Flight Centre Travel Group, which has given me a unique skillset to be able to adapt to the ever changing, fast paced, performance driven environment that exists within the travel industry.I have an excellent track record mentoring and developing high performance teams by communicating a compelling vision and shaping a positive working environment with high job satisfaction. As an effective people manager, I encourage collaboration and support between team members, while recognising the key motivators that ensure individual and company success. Over the course of my 9 year corporate career, I have been a valuable contributor to numerous technology projects as both an SME and highly respected leader. These projects include implementations of online booking software, client portals and client management within Salesforce. By volunteering my time to participate in workshops and testing, I have been able to become an early adopter and advocate for these initiatives. As a result, I have contributed to changes in both UI design and processes to enhance both internal user and customer experience to maximise value. As a leader within operations, my expertise and problem solving skills have been sought after to help with the change management, data queries as these initiatives were rolled out nationally. I have also learnt to liaise and work with people from a variety of backgrounds including developers, project managers, senior stakeholders as well as vendors.The purpose of my current role is to design, drive and discipline operational standards for FCM teams within the Australia/New Zealand region. I am part of a global governance team responsible for delivering change management strategies and supporting service teams to perform at optimum level while delivering an excellent and consistent customer experience.
