Founder And Executive Director
CurrentResponsible for the successful leadership and management of the 501 c3 non-profit organization according to the strategic direction, operational plan and budgetary goals with oversight and development of a strong leadership team of 12 female leaders• Work with Board of Directors and staff to prepare a comprehensive budget (doubled in five years), secure adequate funding and oversee the writing, development and execution of fundraising plans and funding proposals• Approve expenditures within the authority delegated by the Board and administer the funds of the organization according to the approved budget and monitor the revenue, expenditure and monthly cash flow of the organization• Identify and evaluate compliance issues and risks to the organization's people (clients, staff, management, volunteers), property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks• Self-published and created curriculum to facilitate job skill training, life skills training, financial training, leadership and faith development targeted for at-risk and under-served women used in the community, churches and local prison• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships and collaborative arrangements with churches, community groups, funders, politicians and chambers of commerce to help achieve the goals of the organization
