Operations Manager
Current- Directly managed the Operations team of 5 people; providing advice, support and leadership when required.
- Worked closely with the Operations Board to ensure the businesses (Café, Bookshop and Conferencing) are running efficiently and continuing to improve annual turnover and service provided. Particular focus has been on.
- Designed, developed and helped to build the new church website – writing new content and designing layout, organizing photo shoots, working with a graphic designer on branding and colours.
- Led the set up of a new database system (Churchsuite) in the office, ensuring all data was entered accurately and processes ran effectively before launch. Went onto lead the launch and engagement with church members.
- Carried out tender process and procured a new IT company with annual savings to the church as a result. Successfully worked with new company to complete some long overdue projects.
- Ensured the efficient running of HR systems including; recruiting several new members of staff, contracts, salary reviews. Improved the annual Appraisals and 360 feedback forms and carried out reviews with key.
