As a department manager within this luxury clothing store, ML Clothing, I was responsible for the management of the ladies department.My responsibilities includes merchandising, stock availability, sales, increase sales and ensure efficiency, ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met, responding to customer complaints and comments, promoting the organisation locally by liaising organisations, maintaining awareness of market trends within the retail industry, special promotions, displays and events, providing or organising training and development, using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning. I also played a key role in the creation and maintenance of ML Clothing’s new online stores.My work required me to report to the Store Manager, and work closely with them.

I worked for this luxury clothing store in my final year studying for my HND in Retail Management. My duties included working with the public, promoting excellent customer service associated with our luxury brands, personal shopping, cashing up tills and keeping the floor fully stocked and tidy, stock taking and working as team.
