Forty five years of practicing landscape architecture has provided a foundation for the belief that in order for green design to be accepted by the general public, it must also be beautiful. This balance creates a preferred landscape. My early experience includes surveying and engineering tasks at a multidisciplinary firm, and project management at a small landscape architecture firm that focused on commercial and corporate development. Starting my own firm in 1989 was challenging due to the economy but success came through committment to high quality design and service. Didona Associates is now a six person firm committed to balancing the human experience with the health of the nautural systems.
