I am proud to have led some of the biggest and most exciting real estate transactions to date including MetLife’s 650,000 square foot campus (also the largest combined job announcement in NC at the time). As a Raleigh native, seeing the impact my teams work has on the community is a driving factor – one that keeps me motivated drives my civic and industry engagement. Serving on boards like the WakeMed Foundation, Cary Chamber of Commerce, and leading Raleigh Chamber initiatives like the Women’s Leadership Conference, has deepened my understanding of the communities in which I live and work. This engagement has also broadened my network and diversified my approach to structuring deals. I am a connector and love meeting new people every day. Sitting down with companies to understand their workplace vision, connecting them with the right space, and then engaging the right internal and external stakeholders to bring that vision to life is incredibly exciting. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of it. I feel the same way about mentoring and coaching young talent, especially women and minorities, who tend to be underrepresented in the industry. This past year, I joined the Heart of Highwoods initiative as Co-Chair to champion diversity and inclusion within the organization.
