Simulation Technology/Education

Successful planning, preparing props/makeup, operation of high fidelity mannequins to over 60 assigned courses, and collaborating with team that manages approximately 200 courses/year, for internal and external continuing education, medical specialty, health sciences, nursing, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary learners. Collaborated with U.S. Military including Army and National Guard units to stage military medical simulations for soon-to-deploy medic unit deployment training. Participated and assisted as a part of a team to revamp workflow processes within the Simulation Center course intake-system. Contributed many new and creative ways of executing and staging scenarios and props.

Mayo Blood Donor Center

Contributed to the successful donor recruitment, scheduling, and acquisition of quality blood, platelet, and plasma products by screening potential donors following strict guidelines outlined by FDA, CDC, JCAHO, CAP, and AABB. Encouraged and developed use guidelines for electronic blood donor communication, including email, website updating, and social media usage, single-handedly handling up to 250 email responses per week while performing regular duties. Tracking critical materials as a part of Parstocking/ordering team. Offered many ideas used by donor recruitment team for encouraging blood donations, and reward programs for repeat donors.
