Completed project consultation in accordance with AER Directive 56 and Aboriginal Consultation Office (ACO) requirements, mitigating all stakeholder concerns to support on-schedule regulatory applications.Managed First Nation agreements and relationships, supported Traditional Land Use (TLU) Study deliverables to ensure open communication and reduce regulatory risk.Conceptualized and executed a community sensing program and detailed data analysis which resulted in re-defined and more effective Social Investment, Stakeholder Management and Communication strategies.Strategically supported key community initiatives by developing and managing and a $595K social investment budget and strategy which maximized reputational benefits to Shell in 2015/2016.

As Integrated Activity Planner, I ensured the integration of activities across Shell’s Greater Deep Basin portfolio to deliver project objectives & capitalize on opportunities to add business value.• Coordinated integrated planning activities including: well licensing and well delivery execution for a 2-4 rig drill schedule, hydrocarbon development scenario evaluation and analysis, and executed key Project Management activities.• Accountable to build and update medium-term (1 year) and long-term (2 year) integrated schedule by liaising with technical and development teams, and internal service groups (drilling, completions, construction, finance, etc.)• Ensured the integrated schedule is executable with regard to capex, facility phasing, and production targets.• Managed a multi-disciplinary team to ensure well licenses acquired on schedule. Coordinated front-end well licensing work with regards to scouting viable surface locations to ensure risks to project delivery are mitigated.• Coordinated Management of Change (MOC) process and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives regarding well, pipeline and facility licensing workflows and timelines.

As Regulatory Specialist I ensured licenses and regulatory approvals were obtained, and acted as focal point and subject matter expert on regulatory requirements. Supported Shell’s Unconventional assets in Alberta and Oil Sands Exploration (OSE) programs.• Initiated and coordinated application inputs; prepared unique and complex regulatory applications and ensured applications maintained 100% compliance with all regulatory requirements.• Provided expert advice by interpreting regulations and drawing upon my diverse background in non-technical risk management.• Represented Shell at external meetings (CAPP, AER, SRD) and facilitated multiple discussions between Shell staff and regulator personnel which resulted in approvals or increased communication between parties.• Cultivated and maintained a relationship of trust with regulatory agencies; supported Shell's early involvement with Play-Based Regulation (PBR) policy development.

As a member of the Consultation and Indigenous Relations team, I worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery and ensure regulatory compliance with applicable government agencies within Alberta. I developed and maintained respectful, constructive relationships with multiple stakeholders (including First Nations), which enabled timely and successful execution of capital projects and supported ongoing operations. ♦ Issued Third Party agreements to multiple external requestors, invoicing and collecting road use fees, liaising with internal field representatives and requestors at external companies to recover maintenance costs on Shell access roads efficiently.♦ Managed a large information and records management project to convert over 5,000 Land files to a digital file room, adding accessibility and increased data integrity.
