For me economic growth is a valuable tool in securing social value and everything we do as a service, has quality at its heart. I’m fascinated by the partnership between the business community, education, the voluntary & community sectors. Focusing on local need, and how we can work together to ensure economic growth and sustainable futures for our communities. Looking for effective collaboration, I’m keen to support progress and achievement against business objectives whilst ensuring social value is at the centre of all we do. A partnership specialist, I thrive on bringing together internal and external partners to achieve strategic objectives. Ultimately we are all seeking impact! With diverse experience in skills, commercial and the further education sector, I have a history of ensuring impact, reaching targets and finding effective solutions and a positive culture in response to the challenges often found in projects. Having supported business growth throughout my career, I also hold Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS) and I have been proud to have led the achievement of Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding recognition (2011) for a commercial training provider and supported another Ofsted Grade 1 recognition for a college (2017) as the Apprenticeship & partnership lead. These, like all of my professional achievements, reflect the dedication of the teams I’ve been proud to work with. I am committed to continuous improvement - the day we think we have done enough, is the day to leave.Interests include, Economic Development, Business Growth, Employer Engagement, Quality Improvement, CSR/Social Value, Strategic planning, Contracting and Partnership working, Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Inclusion, Teaching Learning and Assessment
