I have a passion for numbers and love to share how financial management can help companies succeed. I grew up in rural West Virginia and was fortunate enough to live abroad twice and travel to other countries while living abroad. When I moved to Georgia shortly after 9/11, I started working in the accounting field. After working in the field for a couple years, I met the person whom inspired me to get a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Twenty plus years later I am still exited to be working in the field. My experience includes working for corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

  Managed the overall accounting and payroll function for the organization. Established accounting procedures and policies for the organization. Supervised the accounting staff who processed accounts payable and entered data into donor database. Maintained the general ledger through daily or month journal entries, adjustments and reconciliations. Processed, maintained, and reviewed the bi-weekly payroll for timesheet, time off, wage and deductions. Maintained payroll documentation for each payroll cycle.
