Provided group classes regarding employment-related topics. Offered hands-on engagement with civilian recruiters to identify their needed skills and match with military skills of individual guardsmen, resulting in hiring candidates.

Led the charge in finding employment opportunities for Hawaii Guard and Reserve service members and transitioning veterans from all branches. Program Manager for Hawaii Hires Heroes (H3) program. State technical advisor for Hero2Hired (H2H) program in Hawaii, including use of the web-based applications, job fairs, and other recruiting activities. Networked and established partnerships with more than 300 local and national companies and assisted with their recruiting efforts within network of 10,000 Veterans, Guardsmen, Reservists, spouses, Department of Labor counselors, VA, TAP managers, and veteran’s resources. Built relationships with Guard and Reserve leadership to identify and assist their unemployed and underemployed service members. Pearl Harbor, Hi

Volunteer Coordinator for over 250 volunteers. Managed full-cycle human capital activities including consistent recruitment, screening, supervision, training and recognition for volunteer workforce, increasing volunteer commitment. Managed volunteer budget and made the most of limited resources. Planned and executed annual volunteer appreciation dinner for over 500 attendees. Established partnerships with military units and groups and find appropriate opportunities for one-time outside group volunteer projects at the Museum.

Maintained daily oversight of battalion volunteer programs, including volunteer training, management and recruitment of over 60 volunteers, as well as units’ family communication databases. Assisted Company Commanders and Family Readiness Group Leaders to coordinate activities, meetings and training functions to support soldiers and their families. Provided briefings and training to staff, commanders, units and Army Family members on Family Readiness and program issues, benefits, and entitlements. Planned formal social event attended by 600 people.

Volunteered as logistical and marketing coordinator for Army Family Team Building (AFTB) and Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) Programs. Served as instructor for Army Family Team Building Levels I, II, and III for units, Soldiers and their families. Acted as a liaison to coordinate volunteer member placement with other community and social organizations on Army installation.
