I achieved an Associates in Business and a Bachelors in Finance from Georgia State University where I graduated with a 3.8 GPA. While in school I owned and operated a cleaning business in order to graduate debt free. This job taught me the meaning of hard work, time management, and networking. After graduation I took on a few internships in order to fine tune and practice my new skill set. I accepted a job as a Reporting Analyst at Produce Alliance using programs such as Excel, Visual Studio, SQL, and ProducePro on a daily basis. I worked on reconciliation reports where I balanced and compared orders from vendors to our own records and invoiced rebates for our customers. I also worked with our sales and pricing teams by running requested reports out of Excel using PowerPivot or using SSRS to build a subscription. I am currently working as a pricing analyst at WestRock where I work closely with category managers, storeroom managers, vendor account reps, and analytics to ensure quality data flow. I pull ad-hoc reporting using Qlikview, DAS, JDEdwards, and SQL. I have built automated templates for pricing uploads using Excel Macros and VBA. I initiate and manage data quality projects for increased efficiency and more accurate reporting. One of my projects has resulted in over twelve million dollars of correctly categorized spend. I look forward to new projects and creating dynamic reporting.
