Currently, I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana and work as a School Counselor at Woodside Middle School. I have experience working with students individually, in group settings, and in classrooms for personal, academic, and college and career readiness lessons. I consider myself to be a gentle-leader, energetic, hard working, compassionate, empathetic, and optimistic. I have a passion for helping students and my goal is to assist students in reaching their hopes and dreams and working through the problems they encounter along the way. I believe all students need and deserve a strong educational foundation as well as a dependable support system within the school to grow into responsible, successful adults. I am committed to upholding the highest ethical and legal standards, as well as participating in professional development to keep up-to-date with the best practices and current trends in school counseling. I consider myself to be a life-long learner. It is my goal to work with parents, families, staff, students, and community members in the school counseling program so that we, as an educational community, can work together to engage all students in the learning process.
