Development and coordination of career and employment related programs and services on campus. Facilitates all aspects of the Volunteer Internship Program, a co-curricular community engaged learning opportunity. Advises students participating in the VIP program on program requirements, placement procedures, and other aspects of the program; and assists/coaches students with employment preparation, career planning, and professional development. Works with community partners to develop and fill volunteer placements that positively impact the local community and provide skills and experience to students. The role also provides support to academic departments with internship or other curricular experiential learning courses. Supports range based on faculty needs and may include admission interviews, placement development, matching, professional development, resource creation, gathering supervisor feedback, and facilitating reflective group activities.Proactively management of a large number of dynamic relationships with local organizations. The nature of off campus placements requires consistent risk assessment, insurance administration, and reporting to campus Health and Safety.
