I can develop your 4* skills - developing leadership skills and understanding of boat control.I also tutor potential new coaches under the BCU UKCC scheme for Level 1 & 2I am now very much part of the Getafix team www.getafix.co.uk helping to deliver Level 1 coaching courses in paddlesport across the country and to colleges.

I teach GSCE mathematics at College to a variety of student groups from adults retaking their maths exams, to college students who need a high enough level of mathematics to apply to their chosen qualifications.I use my knowledge of coaching and teaching to develop people within a class to achieve. I am loving it!

In addition to my freelance work I have now joined the team at Canoe England via The British Canoe Union to deliver a programme of Level 1 and Level 2 coaching awards across the regions. I hope in particular to work with Beth & Hila to deliver some of the women only courses to provide an opportunity for those women who perhaps benefit from tuition from their peers. Having worked for Kempston Outdoor Centre as a freelance instructor the opportunity arose to run the centre full time. I developed the centre with no funding from 1 manager + 1/2 an admin staff to include 2 full time senior instructors to work with the numerous casual staff.After 2.5 years I felt I had done enough to pass the role onto to a more qualified practitioner in the outdoor industry and my need to work part time I was ready to go back to freelancing again.
