The Warehouse is a coworking space in New Orleans. They offer a range of membership levels from communal tables to private offices. There are 3 conference rooms available to members and are also rented out to the public. I gave tours to perspective members, managed weekly and monthly calendar and activities, and was responsible for daily facility operations.

I worked in several different positions while at Backroads. I started in the Rooming Department (corresponded with hotels around the world) then became the Private Trip Reservation Specialist, then Departure Management Specialist. I made all system changes to trips, working in multiple programs. It's a very detailed position with deep knowledge and understanding on how changes affect each department. I worked with multiple departments to coordinate changes and worked very closely with the Trip Development Department and Regional Managers to make sure everything was done accurately and smoothly. I managed an extensive excel spreadsheet that tracked all system changes and was responsible for auditing a list of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

I worked in hospitality management for 8 of the 9 years I was with DNC. I managed several different operations, including Glen Aulin and Sunrise High Sierra Camps (remote hike-in lodges), White Wolf Lodge, Yosemite Lodge Bar and Restaurant, and Curry Village Front Desk and Housekeeping Department. Working in Yosemite presented varied challenges that required innovative solutions, quick action, accountability and teamwork. I gained comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and union contract. I was responsible for schedule, payroll, and disciplinary action of staff as well as wrote and executed end of season reviews with staff. I also coordinated efforts with National Park Service regarding preservation, restoration, environmental education and safety for guests and day use visitors.
