After more than 30 years as a senior leader in the financial services industry and six years at The Ivey, I assumed the Executive Director role at The Memory & Movement Charlotte practice. My mission now is to make sure the entire community knows about this world-class dementia care organization.I strive to deliver value & impact in all I do. My own mother had Alzheimer’s disease, so joining The Memory & Movement Charlotte non-profit organization as their Executive Director was a natural fit. Moving into this role allows me to blend my personal & professional experiences. My strategic goals include: ⇾ Helping families access end to end dementia care from a team of world class professionals⇾ Expanding Memory & Movement Charlotte's breath of services to support the expansive needs of individuals and families navigating a dementia or movement disorder diagnosis⇾ Educating the community regarding the importance of lifestyle choices in mitigating cognitive decline and maintaining quality of lifeWhat sets me and The Memory & Movement Charlotte team apart is being accountable to our families: we operate with compassion, empathy, competency and gratitude.
