Nonprofit Finance Fund is a Community Development Financial Institution that provides consulting, loans, and insights to the social sector. I managed a multi-year initiative called Invest in Results that aimed to reorient the social sector around outcomes, which includes the publication of a book, an online learning community, and a series of convenings and workshops designed to spark action among key stakeholders. I also worked across departments to design, research, improve, and manage internal processes and procedures, such as onboarding, performance management, software use, and communications. On the creative side, I planned and organized multi-day departmental retreats and created numerous internal videos that helped bring to life NFF's messaging and key insights.

I set up the company Applicant Tracking System, PEO, and internal and external events calendar. Additionally, I identified operational inefficiencies and strategized improvements; implemented HR policies and processes, and represented the customer success team to Spanish­-only speaking caregivers.

Amicus is a social good software start-up for which I was the first and only employee in charge of everything other than product development and sales, including operations, human relations, accounting, insurance, purchasing and legal affairs. I set up and managed employee benefits including a 401(k) program, health insurance, and payroll; automated payroll, bill payments and company processes; identified and solved financial inefficiencies; improved employee satisfaction by implementing regular feedback systems and facilitating open discussions, and managed the employee recruitment process.

The Richmond Community Foundation's Farm 2 Table Program is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program that delivers locally-grown produce to Richmond residents. I secured Institutional Review Board approval and conducted over 30 interviews with program members, farmers, and other CSA programs, resulting in valuable data used in grant proposals valued over $10,000. Throughout the process, I identified multiple areas for improvement in online and print marketing techniques resulting in the tripling of membership, improved retention, and thousands of dollars in savings.
