Hi, I am Janet Lim🥰 , the author of self-help motivational book 📘 titled ‘Colourful Monsters’. This book was birthed from past feelings of embarrassment and from being a frustrated mum. When relatives in Ipoh said to me, “Please don’t bring your three monsters to my house”, while strangers gave me hard stares in a book shop with comments such as “Please watch over your kids, they are behaving like hooligans” and a café owner warned me to “Please supervise your children as they are disturbing my customers”, I knew I had serious parenting skills to work on. I had to work on becoming a ‘fabulous mum’ so this is my story of how I cope as a mother of three boys 👦👦👦 as well as being a Principal in an education business. No doubt you will agree that being a parent is a tough 24-hour job 💪, with no breaks in between and a long term commitment that seems endless.
