In partnership with the professional and faculty advisors on campus, serve as the point person to monitor the academic progress of close to 600 NCAA Division III student-athletes. Oversight includes course selection, academic planning, recovery plans, and continuing eligibility requirements. Work closely with the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) and serve as the liaison between the Division of Athletics and Academic Affairs, CPDC, Learning Services, ACES, and other campus departments to ensure a high level of success for all student-athletes. Attend Faculty Assembly, Staff Council and Advising staff meetings, serve as a member of the campus CARE (Concerns, Assessment, Referral, and Education) team, in addition to multiple other College committees. Maintain consistent communication with coaches through documentation and attending regularly scheduled division meetings. Provide information to student-athletes, coaches, and staff regarding course registration, institutional policies, academic requirements, and NCAA eligibility. Participate in recruiting visits by meeting with prospective student-athletes and their families to discuss academic programs and support services. Approve and track all academic and experiential internship positions within the Division of Athletics. Work with the Athletic Communications staff to track information for reporting purposes and award nominations. Establish and maintain regular contact with student-athletes taking winter and/or summer session courses.

Assumed a temporary role within the Student Affairs department during a time of transition and rebuilding. Responsible for leading and energizing an active co-curricular program for Nichols' full-time students. Provided general oversight and supervision of all internal and external initiatives for Student Engagement, New and Transfer Orientation and Campus Recreation. Served as the Student Affairs point person to Academic Affairs and Athletics, helping to provide a seamless student experience.

Oversaw the curriculum and content of a 1-credit seminar course required by all first semester, first-year students. Responsible for the hiring and training of up to 20 undergraduate teaching assistants. Served as an instructor in the Professional Development Seminar program.Course topics include: college transition, academic skills, wellness, diversity and inclusion, civility, professionalism, career exploration, and resume development.

Counseled in the related areas of academic advisement, registration, transition to college, and other matters important to the success of new college students. Academically advised 100-125 first-year students as well as a small number of exploratory/undeclared sophomores. Responsible for the academic operations/services and communication between Academic Affairs/Advising Services and the department of Athletics. Served as editor of the Nichols College Catalog.

Responsible for academically advising a caseload of approximately 130 first-year college students in addition to a small number of undeclared sophomores. Provided counsel in areas such as course selection, academic skills, and college life. Served as an instructor in the Professional Development Seminar program for first and second-year students. Coordinated the College Success program for students who were academically at-risk. Acted as liaison to the Athletics Department regarding matters relating to academic support for student-athletes. Supervised departmental work study office assistant. Collaborated with faculty and other campus offices on events and programs including New Student Orientation, Fall Opening, and various enrollment initiatives. Additional assignments included Curriculum Committee, Academic Policy Committee, editor of the College Catalog, and two campus-wide COVID-19 task forces.

Oversaw all aspects of the campus advising system and provided academic counseling to targeted students in the Academic Enrichment Program.

Responsible for maintaining the academic/curriculum progress of first and second year students. Coordinated the First-Year Professional Development Seminar (PDS) program. Served as an instructor in the PDS program and as a Current Issues Symposium instructor (Ethics & College Student Life).

Responsible for the management of the Office of Residence Life including the supervision of an Assistant Director, six Residence Directors, and 42 paraprofessional Resident Assistants. Administered and coordinated the campus judicial system as Chief Judicial Officer. Managed 17 residential facilities. Left the college to pursue an opportunity to enter the field of Academic Affairs.

Managed all facets of the Office of Student Activities including supervision of one professional staff member and one student office assistant. Key areas of responsibility and accomplishment include the development and coordination of New Student Orientation, supervision of over 20 clubs and organizations, advisor to the Student Government Association, and management of the Student Activities and Orientation budgets.
